[Image Description: Large concentric circles form a background for the flyer. They are a soft teal color. Under the
main title is an image of a bright red typewriter and a cup of coffee. Event information and details, listed below, are written in black and red lettering. At the bottom of the flyer are a series of logos: first, a 3Arts Logo and a National Endowment for the Arts logo with a statement under it that reads “This project is funded in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts to 3Arts.” After that are the Disability Cultural Center logo, the Bodies of Work logo, and the Disability and Human Development (DHD) logo.]

A 3Arts Artist in Residence Workshop with Michael Herzovi

Actor, writer, and solo performer Michael Herzovi will lead a hands-on writing workshop that encourages participants to find their voices and share their work - whether it’s intended for stage, in print, or online. Through examples, free writing, and peer critiquing, our goal is to have everyone create the beginning of a piece that they can share and later develop.

The DCC is located on the second floor, accessible by elevator. Remote CART and lunch will be provided. Please let us know about any other access or dietary needs when you RSVP.

Spots are limited! RSVP to dcc@uic.edu
