Bodies of Work Exhibit

The talk is in part a memoir of sexual identity, and in part an examination of the societal wall that separates the disabled from inclusion in corporeal delight. Images will be shown from the history of Lehrer's art, which strives to uncover the glamour inherent in non-normative bodies.

Manning's work challenges the intersections of race and disability. Originally a visual artist he became blind at the age of 23 and began painting with words.
