Come and celebrate our third Juneteenth where we celebrate the black disability community and the victories we accomplished!
This year, we will have a DJ who will bless us with music fit for our Accessible Juneteenth celebration. There will be food, giveaways, and resources given out by vendors also, including from Black-owned and disability-owned/friendly organizations and businesses. We will host an open-mic where you can share your talents in singing, spoken-word, playing instruments, and more!
ASL will be available for the entire event, and live captions will be available during the Open Mic. The Open Mic will also be livestreamed to the Chicagoland DPOCC Facebook page.
RSVP to get event notifications!
This event is brought to you by: The Chicagoland Disabled People of Color Coalition, the UIC Disability Cultural Center, Access Living, the Chicago Disability Pride Parade, and the UIC Institute on Disability & Human Development. With support from Whole Foods.
